Sal is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and a graduate of the University of Maryland, Cum Laude. He has a Master’s Degree in Business Management and 30 years of experience in the financial services business. He has served in the United States Air Force working in the intelligence field, during which time he lived in and spent time in many countries, receiving numerous honors and awards during his tours in the military. He has completed the Senior Financial Advisor program from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and also holds licenses for securities, insurance, and long term care. The Pitti Group Wealth Management focuses on various aspects of investment planning and investment management. They work with corporations, retirees, non-profits, high net worth individuals, and professionals, helping them to achieve their financial goals through a variety of strategies.

After 21 years at Morgan Stanley, he and his son founded The Pitti Group Wealth Management in 2016.

Sal is a former President of the Board of the Ontario County United Way and is currently serving on the Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Ontario County Chamber of Commerce, the 2021 board Chair and serves on the Economic Development Committee. Sal also serves on the ARC of Ontario County’s Advisory Committee and the board of The Business Foundation of the Fingerlakes.

Sal resides in Canandaigua. He has acted as President of his Homeowners Association and is very active in his community. He enjoys golfing, traveling, visiting beaches, spending time with family and is an avid outdoorsman. He has 2 sons, Matthew and Anthony, and 4 grandchildren.
